Valhalla Sound Circus (VSC) is a cultural event where free expression and community combines with big bass and even better vibes. The product? A singular event with live musical performances, collaborative visual art installations, and the aim of unifying and strengthening the bass music community to create a truly magical experience.
Since its’ inception in 2012, Valhalla Sound Circus has been obsessed with synthesizing art, music, adventure, partying, and a dash of surprise, in new and unexpected ways. Tucked away inside the beautiful forests of Quebec, Valhalla is a space that allows you to reconnect with nature, friends, and decibel shattering sound systems.
What started off as an idea has blossomed into a spectacular collective of like-minded people with the sole purpose of sharing their love of music, moments, and magic. Months of planning and designing distilled into a singular moment of creative expression that is multisensory, immersive, and meaningful. The coming together of a community that has shown, year after year, that individuality is best celebrated together under the stars and on the dancefloor.
Valhalla is a moment: in time, or out of it. A space where the only thing out of the question is the ordinary.
You are invited! Shake off the everyday, and come back to where Valhalla is waiting for YOU!
Prepare, mighty warriors of Valhalla, to enter the sacred temple of the Thunderground.
Immersed in the rich tapestry of trees, surrounded by ancient and worthy warriors of Valhalla’s past, this colossal wooden fortress is home to the shrine where the Gods bang their hammers in celebration of festival, friendship, and fiery frequencies.
On your pilgrimage to the Thunderground, you will be guided by four immense glowing towers alongside the fortress. These towers, amplifying the static frequencies in the air, will send you signals of vibrant rays of light so powerful that they can be seen from kilometres away, with a booming system that will send tremors through lands near and far.
The Thunderground is the heart of Valhalla, delivering non-stop drops of seismic proportions. This epicentre of energy is home to some of hypest artists in the bass music game and further offers various sorts of fire & dance performances you won’t want to miss. The legendary stories of the Thunderground will live on forever in those who experience its musical madness firsthand. Come and be a part of it.
Enter the glory of Thunderground, Quebec’s iconic altar of bass music worship!
Warriors of Valhalla are no strangers to Sea life, whether it be in calm tides or crashing waves. But sometimes, even Warriors need to pull into port and ease into the party. Day or night, shore up on the sandy lands of the Drakkar for a refreshing deluge of talent, performances, and lives acts.
The Drakkar sails back into the port for its fourth year, with a fresh new look! Crafted by the finest carpenters in Valhalla, this man-made monument is completely constructed from trees and tree trunks, (and a whole lot of love), sourced locally from the bountiful forests of the Valhalla site. Built to last, the Drakkar can weather any storm. Equipped with renowned 40hz Sound, the Drakkar crashes through the waves with a massive sea of vibrations.
Teeming with activity day and night, keeping your finger on the buzzing pulse of the Hive is a challenging but rewarding task.
Touching the borders of Valhalla, this sanctuary is home to diverse soundscapes and vibes, at once contrasting and complementing what’s going down at the Thunderground and the Drakkar. The Hive is a playground of multisensory experiences, kept cool by the foliage and awesome people that surround it.
If you’re looking to tune in and check out, escape down the rabbit hole to a 360 degree decorated magical forest, and reconnect with your body, your mind, and the bass.
Even the mightiest of warriors needs a little R&R, and what better place to recharge than on the pristine banks of Valhalla’s shores?
Smooth currents and chill vibes abound on the sands of the beach, known for its vast spaces and crystal-clear waters. Located downhill from the main festival grounds, the beach is a testament to the sacred power of Mother Nature and her healing shores. Float along in the river or commune with friends on the beach, bordered by lush forests and good beats. Open from 8 am to 8 pm everyday, the beach is your hideaway from (camp) home! Feel free to lounge around or splash in the river but remember, good warriors don’t litter!
We at Valhalla Sound Circus strongly believe that the best way to truly experience a festival is to be a part of it, living every moment of this annual celebration side by side with fellow Valhallians who share the same love, support, and enthusiasm for Valhalla as you do.
This remarkable community was built over many suns and moons, and strengthens with every edition, reinforcing our shared commitment to family values such as mutual respect, acceptance, and unity. Everyone contributes to creating an environment where each other’s safety and well-being is a priority, while also enjoying the unique, fun, and friendly space that forms when we all come together to make some magic.
